I didn't make it back home until 2:30 a.m. but I did enjoy it. And not a five-year-old in sight! :D

I read your review over at the Bridge and that theater you went to sounds really cool. However, my vote still goes to the one over in Bucyrus, they have really good subs and tables you can sit and eat them at while you watch the movie.

......I.. really could have done without that guy getting blown up in the station though...

I felt the same thing, amplified by the fact that I saw it on an IMAX screen!

Damn film took my breath away. I'm rallying for a Best Picture nod, and if it doesn't get it, it will show that the film itself is TOO GOOD for Oscar.

I will see it a second time, in theaters as opposed to DVD.

Reluctantly Accepting The Media Moment We're In

  I hate this .  I hate Skydance. I'm sick of talking about this deal, and now that's nearly finalized, it's no longer a deal. It's a reality.  Been talking about the Five Stages of Grief for a while, and I've noticed people are still in various stages of it. Denial. Anger. Bargaining. Depression. Acceptance. As for me? I'm in the Acceptance stage. Acceptance is not "surrender" or giving up. I'm a realist, and given ALL the avenues and obstacles that has been part of that journey, the reality is that the two companies are now one. I've accepted that reality. That doesn't mean I have to like it because as I've said many, many, many times, I hate it. I hate that this deal killed Warner Bros as a stand-alone media company. Don't Panic

You people made me break my hiatus for this one post. I explicitly stated that I did not want to talk about the deal anymore. I'm not entirely talking about it, but there is something that has been grating at me the moment the deal was officially determined.  Look, I get it. You hate this deal. I really hate this deal. Folks who work at Warner Bros Discovery hate this deal. Even some of the stockholders and board members hate this deal. It's a terrible deal. It's not even sealed. It's not completed. And there's still a chance it might not legally get cleared by most trade commissions and jurisdictions and completely fall apart. But please hear me out for just a moment.  I want you folks, especially you animation fans, take the time to actually read this because a huge chunk of you folks is acting like petulant children.
