A Celebration and Murphy's Law

Today is July 10, 2008.

Ten years ago today, I launched The X Bridge.

I had uploaded a brand new layout, new articles, new sections, and other newness to the site. BUT, and this is a big but, my site's host, Toon Zone, went down. It's currently undergoing a server move. Still, the principle of Murphy's Law comes into being today. What can go wrong usually does.

The only day when it wasn't lightning and pouring down rain was today. The lightning returns later. Oh well. Stuff happens. And there is another day.

Still, it's not everyday your webpage turns 10. It's a rarity in this day and age of the blog. To all of you who had been a part of the readership over the last decade, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Check out The X Bridge . . . whenever the server move's complete. I hope you'll enjoy the changes.

Happy Birthday to the X Bridge!
10 years is an amazing accomplishment.

I'm excited by the review section. It's a good place to start up discussion. Hancock's use of profanity didn't bother me so much. Maybe I'm watching toommuch stand-up comedy lately :p

Congratulations Jeff and thank you for keeping up the site for ten years ^^.

10 years!! WooT! And I've enjoyed it every step of the way!

It seems webmasters of the world subconciously agreed to update this weekend cause DevArt is getting revamped too.

VWG: Thanks for being there. Hope you stick around for what's coming up next. I'm still kind of nervous about it, and it won't come until the end of the year at the earliest.

I saw that dA update this week. Now that's impressive. I think I need to start uploading a little more at my account there soon, especially some of these actual character sheets I've been sitting on.

Ellen: Thanks for the love. I liked the movie, probably a little more than a lot of folks did, but it's cool. I thank you for being a part of it. Hope you'll continue to be there, especially with these upcoming creative changes coming in the fall. No hints though.
