. . . And FINALLY, George Lucas Gives The Fans What They Want

This September, one of the greatest sci-fi epics ever created comes to homes in the way they were meant to be seen.

In cutesy little plastic pieces.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy completes the popular franchise by giving you a chance to relive the adventures of Luke, Han, Leia, and the rest of the pop culture icons in a fun-sized format.

Oh, right.

And to mark this upcoming release, 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilms are going to release The Original Trilogy on DVD for a limited time on September 12, 2006. And when I mean The Original Trilogy, I mean Han shoots first, English on the control panels, no celebration on Naboo, and Hayden isn't a ghost. Yeah, THAT Original Trilogy. But if you like the other stuff, they'll be in this release too. Here's the official press release.

I loved the first Lego Star Wars game, admitedly just because of the gonk bot and killing Jar Jar as many times as I want!

What I want to see is how huge the Jabba lego piece will be lol

Let's Ride This FAST Car... toon Network Concept (Part 2)

Three channels. That's all the Cartoon Network brand needs to expand into FAST media. Three channels. Why three? Because with nearly 30 years of original programming, you can't put it all in one place. That's why you don't see much of the library on television nowadays. Cartoon Network itself has a limited lineup, and they're hyper-focused on the younger demographics and push more modern shows. They tried to put some of the older CN library on Boomerang, but it was buried in late-night slots.  Plus, most major TV markets don't have Boomerang on their cable lineup.
